As part of the Queensland Government five year training reform plan, three funding programs have been developed as a key initiative in upskilling the workforce.
Funding includes the following programs:
Under these programs, the Queensland Government will subsidise the cost for a variety of qualifications ranging from Certificate II to Diploma level.
Your benefits
Students who partake in the training offered under the 2014-15 Annual VET Investment Plan will learn the skills needed to exceed the requirements in their job role. Students will also be trained in an industry with a large skills gap, keeping you ahead of the market. Training costs are largely subsidised to help students attain their first post-school qualification.
For more information, please see view the fact sheets.
The funded programs will be delivered as a blended workplace learning program. Students will be allocated a mentor, who will visit the student every month at the workplace to conduct training and face-to-face assessment. Students will complete all other assessments at their own pace with our learning resources.
Information about Certificate 3 Guarantee is available at Queensland Training.
